Look at the firewall, next to where the harness goes in there is the 2 metal lines for the ac. Take off the 10mm bolt holding on the plate that covers the ac lines and remove the plate and the thick rubber insulator, it has slits in it so you can pull it off with out undoing the ac lines. Reach your finger in and you will feel one of the 10mm bolts (facing towards the inside of the cabin), this is one of the bolts holding on that metal plate. I use a ratcheting 10mm wrench with a pivoting end to get it off. With that off you can push back tha plate with an extension or some suitable tool far enough to get the plugs through. If that isn't enough space and you feel uncomfortable than the other bolt holding on the plate can be accessed in the cabin in the passenger footwell. Loosing up the blower box and ac box will help alot.
